Shiny China

I’d anticipated starting the year of blogging with something else, but I found something shiny I needed to share.

The brain in The Lair of the Evil Drs is the spectacularly shiny thing I found, these girls are smart and funny and well-read and it leads to a colourful and very entertaining discussion about writing and an assortment of odd things, including at one stage The Eurythmics, with the maestro of cleverly-written mayhem, China MiƩville.

Here, it’s worth a wee read.

    Hi Lee,
Great interview, the only problem is I now feel slightly lesser of a human being, his intellect is staggering. Looking forward to reading more of his work. I hope life is treating you well, it must because you got yourself one more subscriber!

Thanks Dave, apologies for the delay in response. Aye China’s brain is something else though the questions make the answers. The Evil Drs Brain did some sparkling work too.

Undoubtedly, I wouldn’t know what to ask if I were in their position, and if anything did come out it would just be illiterate scrawl. On a not completely unrelated note, I’m headed to the lifeline bookfest this weekend, any recommendations? :P

Apologies for the delay David. My only recommendations for Lifeline would’ve been to take a very strong bag. I picked up an excellent haul.

Haha, I didn’t go too crazy this time round, though I did pick up some exceptional bargains, last time I went pretty nutters and have yet to finish half of my purchases.
